“We really are living in a backend wild west. Most DEXes have near-zero transparency about what’s actually sitting between the user and the chain. Indexers, caches, proprietary APIs, hidden trust assumptions dressed up as infrastructure.”
She adds, “any semblance of decentralization gets gutted the moment you try to interact with the smart contracts directly, & it’s even worse when you realize World is the only DEX running with no backend at all.”
