Will be over 50%
I recommend everyone to watch the GTC session between Bill Dally & Jeff Dean
Agents will interact with environments using tools “designed for human speed interaction.”
Many of those tools “run on CPUs,” and things like C compiler startup time were not optimized for this world.
When an agent is operating “50 times faster than a human,” the startup latency of tools becomes an Amdahl’s-law bottleneck.
Therefore, “we’re going to need to really re-engineer a lot of the tools.”

$AMD: "At our Financial Analyst Day in November, we outlined a server CPU market growing at approximately 18% annually over the next 3 to 5 years. Based on the demand signals we are seeing today and the structural increase in CPU compute requirements driven by Agentic AI, we now expect the server CPU TAM to grow at greater than 35% annually, reaching over $120 billion by 2030."
