The youth were particularly impacted by this issue, and we made concerted efforts to integrate them into mainstream society. Over the past decade, more than 8,000 Naxalites have renounced violence. Today, the number of districts facing Naxalism has decreased to fewer than 20. Similarly, the northeastern region was plagued by separatism and violence. In the last decade, our government has facilitated 10 major peace agreements, leading over 10,000 individuals to lay down their arms and join the mainstream.
