Economic Daily News reports. The hiring squeeze in Taiwan semi industry extends to fab construction, where there are as many as 12 openings per job seeker. Companies are also competing for cooks, security guards and accounting staff.
AI-driven expansion needs people across the entire operation. These shortages could raise the cost of adding capacity and make staffing harder as new facilities open.
