FT 9月13日报道,Anthropic告知少数股东,本季度将录得连续第二季正的调整后营业收入,毛利率超过80%。Q2收入$115亿,同比14倍。7月底年化收入$650亿。10月Nasdaq上市,目标估值$2万亿以上。
数字虽然很漂亮,但是实际情况需要仔细分析一下。
第一,"调整后营业收入"剔除了股权激励(SBC)。对一家IPO前夜的公司,SBC是最大的非现金支出项之一。Anthropic成立至今从未公开披露过GAAP口径盈亏,2021至2025年累计净亏损的第三方估算在$100-150亿区间。这次报道对GAAP是否盈利同样一个字没提。而且这个"盈利"本身可能也很脆弱。Anthropic签了一份约$150亿/年的算力合约,Q2恰好覆盖了一个ramp-up折扣期,Q3起全价生效后成本结构会有明显变化。Anthropic自己在投资人沟通中也承认"may not remain profitable for the full year"。
第二,80%毛利率的计算排除了两项最大的成本:付给Amazon等云分销商的收入分成,以及模型训练费用。第三方估算2026年算力总支出在$100亿量级,其中训练约$41亿。这个80%衡量的是跑推理有多赚钱,但跟能不能用自身收入支撑下一代模型的训练是两回事。
第三,也是最关键的会计问题:收入确认方式。Anthropic将通过AWS、Google Cloud、Azure的收入按总额法(gross basis)确认,客户付$100,Anthropic记$100收入,云服务商分成记为费用。OpenAI对Microsoft采用净额法(net basis),先扣约20%再报top line。今年3月ARR还只有$190亿时,Bank of America估算这个口径差异已达$64亿。如今ARR $650亿,这个缺口只会更大。OpenAI更直接,公开指控Anthropic虚增约$80亿。DA Davidson分析师Gil Luria的判断:先上市的公司将定义frontier AI labs在公开市场的财务报告标准。
Anthropic目前所有的PR节奏和公开动作都在为四季度IPO服务。安全叙事强化品牌溢价,盈利数据给投资人信心,竞争对手主动退出同一个资本窗口。Frontier AI labs第一个IPO,定义的是会计准则、信息披露标准和估值倍数的规则。Anthropic抢的是话语权和规则制定权,上市身位只是副产品。

Demand for Astra is really unprecedented. We're pulling all the levers possible to sustain the demand, but I've not seen anything like it until now and we went through very steep growth before. Priority will always be to keep excellent service for existing users, but we might have to pause new Pro subscriptions for a bit if this continues.
