Mario Nawfal(@MarioNawfal):🇺🇸🇮🇷 Sh*t’s getting real when they threaten to dance on your father’s grave: Fired Arkansas professor Shirin Saeidi posted a video threatening activist Lawdan Bazargan, apparently vowing to travel to Iran, dance on the grave of Bazargan's brother Bijan, and send her the tape. Bijan was hanged in the 1988 prison massacre. Bazargan's group pushed probes of Saeidi's Cambridge work and her letterhead letter for convicted official Hamid Nouri. Trustees upheld her firing in May. Now there are calls for more scrutiny of European and U.S. academia. That sounds like a textbook case of free speech to me. Writer: Jamie
