Howard's China Watch(@Intrstngfcts):@vivianwubeijing I was one of those flag and flower wavers back in the early 80s :) at the time, you get 0.25 yuan allowance each time, that was enough for five chocolate ice lollies, or a Bei Bing Yang orange flavour drink - big deal. The young people today must get way more than that now.
