We've applied a mitigation to unblock Copilot usage and have observed recovery for this particular impact. We're continuing to investigate and apply mitigations for the billing page disruption while monitoring to ensure Copilot remains recovered.

Microsoft is reportedly preparing a new “Ask Copilot” experience for the Windows 11 taskbar, which sounds like one of the biggest changes to Windows Search in years. Instead of the usual search box, users will be able to type natural requests directly into the taskbar and get more intelligent results powered by Copilot AI. For example, rather than typing a specific file name, you could search “find the notes I edited last night” or “open the PDF John sent me,” and Windows would understand the context. Microsoft reportedly plans to keep the classic search experience available too, so users who prefer the traditional setup won’t be forced into the AI version. The feature is expected to begin rolling out around mid-2026

Microsoft has added a new feature to Copilot in the Edge browser so the AI can read information from all your open tabs at the same time You can ask Copilot to check everything in your open tabs and it can make a short summary of all the pages. It can also compare options like products, hotels or travel choices and help you make a plan or pick the best one. For example, when you open many recipe pages Copilot can change the amounts for your guests and create a cooking plan with a shopping list. The feature is optional so you must turn it on and allow tab access, but you can turn it off anytime in Edge settings. Microsoft says they keep your information private based on its rules.

Satya Nadella announced that he wants Copilot to become the “OS for work”; he says Microsoft is building Copilot to span “every model, every form factor, and every task.” They want Copilot to do more than answer questions, like build apps, surface info without being asked and eventually “get work done on your behalf.” Nobody asked for this, Microsoft is really pushing this Ai-slop even after everyone hates this shit, they didn’t learn anything.
