That's why I think maritime intelligence is entering a new phase. Instead of relying on a single position ping, the industry is beginning to combine multiple layers of information. Human observations. Satellite imagery. AI analysis. Independent verification. Each layer reduces uncertainty. Each layer brings us closer to understanding what's actually happening at sea. The ocean has never lacked data. It has lacked confidence in that data. Perhaps the next generation of maritime infrastructure won't simply track ships.
