Alabama-made solar. Alabama jobs. Alabama steel. A project that's good for Alabama and good for America. Jen Deci, First Solar's Director of US Government Affairs and an Alabama native, discusses on @aldotcom the Stockton solar project in Baldwin County — and why it's right for Alabama. The solar panels Stockton plans to use are built in Trinity, by Alabama workers, with steel fabricated within 25 miles of the plant. American technology, not imported Chinese solar. Private capital, private risk, no ratepayer exposure. And willing landowners exercising the most fundamental property right Alabamians have always defended. Every manufacturing job at First Solar's $1.1 billion Lawrence County factory supports an estimated 7.3 more jobs across the region. Killing demand for the product those workers make would impact jobs, families, and communities across the Yellowhammer State. #AmericanSolar# #SolarPower# #MadeInUSA#

"We know the healthiest thing for an American economy is an America that makes what it needs." — Missy Rogers, President, Noble Plastics, and chair of the board of directors of the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. In Grand Coteau, Louisiana, American manufacturing is making a comeback — driven by two companies who never stopped believing in it. Noble Plastics builds the junction boxes that power modules made at our Louisiana factory — American parts, made by American workers, for American-made solar technology. It's a partnership that means jobs and economic investment for the local community from both ends of the supply chain. Watch how two companies are building America's industrial base, together. 🎥👇 #AmericasSolarCompany# #AmericanManufacturing# #MadeInAmerica#

In Sylvania, Ohio, a solar array is helping turn energy savings into community service. The Sisters of St. Francis are channeling long-term savings from their 475-kW solar installation — featuring solar modules donated by First Solar — directly into the ministries that define their mission: supporting domestic violence survivors, nursing care, counseling for children, a community garden, and beekeeping. Every kilowatt-hour produced is an investment in a neighbor. See how First Solar's innovative solar technology is helping power a mission of service. 📽️ #AmericasSolarCompany# #SolarEnergy# #CommunityImpact#

🌎 Our 2026 Corporate Responsibility Report, "Responsible by Design," has arrived — and it tells a powerful story. This year's report shows what it looks like when responsibility is built into every module that comes off the line. Real factories. Real jobs. A domestic supply chain. American-invented CdTe technology with decades of proven performance. Across our US factory footprint, we're proving that American manufacturing and responsible manufacturing go hand in hand. 👉 Read the full report and see what "Responsible by Design" looks like in action: #CorporateResponsibility# #AmericanManufacturing# #SolarEnergy# #AmericasSolarCompany#

American manufacturing and American supply chains mean American jobs. They also help deliver prosperity to communities across the country. We’re proud to bring jobs to the communities where we operate, and prosperity to the families who live there. “I am a single mother to one beautiful daughter. I’ve actually lived in Ottawa all my life,” said Stacey Bragg, Quality Technician for @nsgpilkington in Ottawa, Illinois, which makes high-tech float glass for First Solar modules. “What I do is check our glass to keep our clients happy and make sure everything is up to par. It’s very important to us that we keep the float lines open.” Learn more about America's Solar Workers - #FirstSolar# #AmericasSolarCompany# #Reindustrialize# #MadeInUSA#

First Solar’s investment in American manufacturing and American supply chains creates good-paying jobs that help bring prosperity to American communities. @nsgpilkington, which makes high-tech glass for our Series 7 solar modules at its Ottawa, Illinois, facility, is a great example of how reindustrialization can create a positive economic impact in the communities where companies operate. “Jobs are hard to come by in this day and age. And when our community sees a company like NSG investing in themselves, that’s a guarantee to those employees and to our community that they’re gonna be here for a while. And that’s what’s important.” — Robert Hasty, Mayor, Ottawa, Illinois 🎥 Learn more about the impact that NSG Group has on its local economy as part of our US supply chain. #FirstSolar# #NSGGroup# #AmericasSolarCompany# #Reindustrialize# #MadeInUSA#

America’s industrial decline was a choice. Reversing it is, too. First Solar CEO Mark Widmar's new op-ed in @RealClearEnergy compares two solar technologies over the same decade against the same adversary — crystalline silicon, which was lost to a state-backed Chinese buildout; and CdTe thin film, which remained in American hands through deliberate choices on IP, manufacturing, and supply chains. The lesson for critical minerals, batteries, and semiconductors: structural advantages compound. So do dependencies. The on-off switch for American industry stays in American hands if we choose to keep it here.
