8/29/2026 Daily Recap: Hiding under the MAGS tree. - $AAPL $MSFT $AMZN $GOOGL were Fridays hiding spot immediately following Warsh hawkish speech. - $NVDA not an ideal selloff after its earnings push but that is just typical for that name. - $SMH continues to live under the 50sma and it's tough to make a bullish case for this group at the moment. - $RBRK nasty rejection on Friday after the ER report. Dragging down $CRWD $PANW with it. - Whispers of a possible rate hike in September took the dollar up and metals down. - Rate sensitive biotech's felt that news as well closing down 3.5% for the day. $XBI. $ARKG down 4.5% - $WGMI continues to look like a group which is heading lower $IREN $WULF $HUT $CIFR. $NBIS also can't wake up even a little bit. - Aerospace also sees no love. Many former leaders are already 50% off highs. $ASTS $RKLB $PL. - $VLO $MPC $PSX still look incredibly resilient despite middle of the road strength in crude. - Tricky market full of landmines so trading smaller for the time being has kept me out of trouble. - HAGW!

While I would like virtually total transparency and wish that everyone would handle the information they have access to responsibly to work out what's true and what to do about it, I realize that's an ideal to be approached but never fully achieved. There are exceptions to every rule, and in very rare cases, it is better not to be radically transparent. In those unusual cases, you will need to figure out a way that preserves the culture of radical transparency without exposing you and those you care about to undue risks. #principleoftheday#

It's interesting how when we talk about AI agents, we talk about the human being in the loop. But the human is actually the gap in the loop. An ideal agentic loop runs closed; to involve a person, it has to halt, freeze state, render it legible, pass it over, and sit there waiting before it starts again on a changed input. Despite this latency, I do think human-in-the-loop is a necessary evil for AI agents. Even trained on our own context and history, our internal agents land wrong roughly 2/10 times. And that's fine when the agent is drafting something, but not when it's set to do a task. So ideally, every human-involved checkpoint in the agentic process should buy you accuracy if it's costing you time.
