🌎 Twenty-five years ago today, #terrorism# sought to plunge the #world# into fear. It failed. We remember the innocent lives stolen on September 11, 2001, and the families and communities forever changed by that terrible day. We honor the first responders and all those who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable danger. The passage of time does not diminish our duty to remember—and it must never weaken our resolve. We will confront terrorism and violent extremism wherever they threaten our people. We will defend freedom, human dignity, and the rule of law. And we will reject hatred and division in every form. Our answer to those who seek to divide #humanity# must be unity. Our answer to hatred must be courage. Our answer to terror must be #peace#. Today, we remember those we lost. We stand with those who still carry the pain.
