.@ore is hard money for a digital age. ⛏️ Every token has to be mined, only 3 million will ever exist, and the ability to mint more has been permanently destroyed onchain. Not even the team can undo it. Mined by anyone. Capped by code.

first time i ever bought crypto bitcoin was like $3,000, it was trading at $20,000 a few months later, it’s in the cards something similar happens with zcash over the next 12-18 months thesis of hard money + private sov has never been stronger, & there is a very strong core holder base formed over the past decade that does not have any short term targets for selling this thing

Zcash offers more than one value proposition: privacy, payments, and hard money.
To those responsible for the theft of bitcoin from the Liquid Network: Blockstream will not pay a ransom for the return of stolen funds. Taking assets without authorization and withholding their return is a crime, not responsible disclosure. It is not white-hat activity. It is theft. We have engaged in good faith in an effort to secure the return of stolen user funds and protect the broader Bitcoin community. That effort should not be mistaken for acceptance of the actions taken nor of the terms being demanded. We will not be a party to the precedent that open-source software developed for the good of the Bitcoin community should subject its developers to paying a ransom that far exceeds their economic participation. Bitcoin is hard money and can’t be minted without costs, Bitcoin doesn’t haircut users to pay a ransom. To the Bitcoin community: We are fighting for what we believe in, for the users whose funds were taken, and for the principles on which Bitcoin was built. The community has demonstrated incredible resolve with teams of people dedicating their time in support of each other to identify and patch vulnerabilities in each other's products and systems. We are all driven by the mission that Bitcoin is the single best asset, for every person, company, and institution on the planet to invest, use, and build on. The world is a different place with the advancements of AI, and the Bitcoin community has responded with force to combat that threat. Damage has been done, battles have been lost, but on the whole the Bitcoin community is gaining ground in the war with bad actors. We want to thank the community for those efforts, for your support in hardening the network, helping users recover funds, and for your support in our assertion that crime does not deserve rewards. To those holding the stolen bitcoin: There is still an opportunity to resolve this responsibly. The bitcoin can be returned and we can revert to the standard of white-hat principals. However, if the funds are not returned, we will pursue every lawful avenue available to us. We will work with law enforcement, exchanges, service providers, forensic specialists, and other relevant parties to trace and recover the assets and identify those responsible. More importantly, Bitcoin is transparent by design and the community is made up of the most sophisticated engineers, cryptographers, and white-hat hackers globally. Transactions do not disappear, and neither does the evidence they leave behind. We will not pay for the return of stolen property. We will not abandon our users. The Bitcoin community will not stop pursuing the funds. Return the bitcoin.

The weirdest thing happening in crypto right now: tokenized stocks paired with memecoins. it's simple. a tokenized stock is an ERC-20 backed 1:1 by a real share. launchpads like Bankr and let anyone create a memecoin where the base asset in the pool is a stock token instead of a stablecoin. so every buy of the meme routes demand straight through a real equity. Hims & Hers ($HIMS) is a telehealth company that, among other things, sells ED treatment. its tokenized version went live on Robinhood Chain on August 10th. on August 20th someone launched a memecoin called $BONER, tagline "Paired with HIMS. Hard money." and that's where it got interesting.

🚀 BITCOIN JUST ENTERED A HISTORIC CORRELATION REGIME 🚀 This is WILD. I genuinely believe Bitcoin is setting up for a COVID-style blow-off bull run. Bitcoin’s correlation with GOLD is currently sitting near the absolute extreme of the last decade: 42-day: 99.7th percentile 63-day: 99.96th percentile 90-day: 100th percentile Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s correlation with QQQ is basically ordinary. The 63-day numbers: BTC ↔ GOLD: +0.587 BTC ↔ QQQ: +0.318 Bitcoin is suddenly behaving MUCH more like hard money than high-beta tech. So I went hunting through 10 years of daily data for every remotely similar setup. I defined the regime mechanically: BTC/gold correlation in the top 5% of history while BTC/QQQ correlation stayed inside its middle 50%. There were 68 matching trading days. Here’s the insane part: Every single one clustered between July 27 and November 27, 2020. You may remember what Bitcoin did next. Median BTC return after those signals: 6 months: +315% 12 months: +309% 18 months: +246% 24 months: +77% Positive-return hit rate: 6M: 100% 12M: 100% 18M: 100% 24M: 91% For comparison, Bitcoin’s normal median 6-month return across the entire last decade was only about +20%. So historically, this exact regime wasn’t merely bullish. It was the market quietly loading a ballistic missile while everyone was arguing about whether Bitcoin was still a tech stock. Important caveat: those 68 observations all belong to ONE previous macro episode, so this is an analog, not a prophecy. But the last time Bitcoin’s correlation structure shifted this aggressively toward gold… Bitcoin went completely vertical. Hard money regime. Scarcity trade waking up. 🚀🚀🚀

Consequences of microscopic 🍆-day on Iran Give people a longer runway to sell UST before 🍆 Day sanctions are implemented. while "doing whatever it takes" to suppress long term interest rates is very nice treatment of foreign allies and enemies holding and now selling our debt. Bad for dollar, good for gold and hard money. Inflationary and paid for by US holders of UST, consumers, and the tax payers.
