I was honored to join @antonioguterres at #LCAW2026# today for one of the final major climate addresses of his term as @UN Secretary-General. Throughout his tenure, he has brought cities, states, businesses, and civil society into the climate conversation and helped turn ambition into action. Much of the progress we've made over the past decade would not have been possible without his leadership.

I was grateful to welcome the @UN Secretary-General @AntonioGuterres to #LCAW2026# for one of the final major climate addresses of his term—a powerful call to accelerate action on climate change and the transition to clean energy.

With air quality data from @breathecities, mayors around the world have reduced pollution near schools, expanded clean transit, cut building emissions, and taken other steps that are improving the health of millions of people. Today at #LCAW2026#, @bloombergdotorg announced a new $45 million investment in Breathe Cities to build on that progress and welcomed Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Madrid, Spain to the network.

Clean energy can deliver reliable, affordable, secure power worldwide. To help it reach communities where it can have the most meaningful impact, @BloombergDotOrg announced a new commitment at #LCAW2026# to support clean energy industries in developing economies. Read more in the @FT:

In this clip from ‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’, a 21-year-old Prince of Wales speaks out about pollution at a time when few in public life were willing to do so. The King’s commitment has not wavered since then. Yesterday, during London Climate Action Week, His Majesty attended a reception at St James’s Palace formed of world leaders, scientists, changemakers, and business leaders to hear about action being taken to reduce super pollutants in the earths atmosphere. #LCAW2026#

By partnering with past COP Presidencies over the years, @bloombergdotorg has helped bring ambitious goals, real solutions, and cross-sector collaboration to the annual United Nations climate negotiations. I was glad to come together with previous COP presidents and President-Designate @murat_kurum at #LCAW2026# to kick off our latest partnership for the upcoming @turkiyecop31 in Antalya, Türkiye.
