Seeing the demos come together over the last week has been awesome -- so many things that previously required a special-purpose model (e.g. real-time translation, event detection in video) turn out to be zero-shot instruction following once you have a general-purpose model with the right type signature -- continuous/simultaneous audio+video+text->audio+text

Seeing a lot of posts lately (mostly AI slop) hyping up certain traders while treating everyone on the other side of the trade like they’re stupid. Respect the market. Respect your counterparty. The person taking the opposite side of your bet isn’t an idiot. They just see the board differently. Even if they end up losing, their decision might have been mathematically sound at the time. Polymarket is a lot like poker. The player who loses at the final table isn't stupid, and the winner isn't necessarily a genius. Just like weather forecasting, there are many valid models and different ways to find an edge. Ultimately, it’s all about Expected Value (+EV). If you pay 10¢ for an event that has a true 30% probability of happening, that is a fantastic trade. But you still have a 70% chance of losing. Stop judging decisions purely by the outcome. Understand the math, and stay humble.

Seeing this diagram from Naval, the biggest takeaway is this, happiness isn’t a destination, it’s a system you can break down. He breaks happiness into three pillars, health, wealth, and relationships. Each pillar is further broken down, step by step, until it becomes something you can act on today. A good system doesn’t make you more anxious. It shows you that no matter how ordinary your day feels, you can still get one thing right at one sub‑node.

Seeing MyBank go from a sketch to reality is a special feeling. The past few months have been an absolute grind for our payments team. One night at 1 AM, I returned to the office and saw our PM still deep in UJ flows. That’s the level of dedication behind this.
