$SPCX: Louisiana prepares to announce a SpaceX spaceport project on Aug 25. Gov. Jeff Landry is expected to announce plans for a new SpaceX spaceport on Pecan Island in Vermilion Parish. The legislation was passed to help secure the project. This new launch site is expected to spark a major construction boom and create mor than 3,000 new jobs for the State.
