There are a lot of reasons I bought my Cybertruck. But I had no idea at the time that my 83 yr old dad would come to live w/ us nor that I’d be driving him 6x a week to activities, medical appts, etc. His walker is heavy & bulky but effortlessly goes into tailgate in seconds. Tonneau protects it. Truck lowers so he can climb in… which with Parkinson’s is a huge help. And FSD gives us a maximum safe, comfortable ride. It turns out my dad was in hindsight the best reason to buy Cybertruck! ❤️

Wow, @theXtakeover is really getting close! It seems like just yesterday when I was at Xtakeover 2025 in San Mateo, CA! This year it’s bigger, badder & quite a bit closer for me… having switched to October at Tesla Gigafactory in Austin TX! I literally can’t wait!! Who’s going?

Tesla cameras are invaluable in an accident. Immediate understanding & proof of what happened. This Cybertruck pulling a livestock trailer was hit by a vehicle that crossed the center line. Luckily everyone (pigs & dog included) are ok. Cybertruck took the hit & kept them safe.

What ends a 2,200 mile streak? Well, for two months FSD has been doing my local driving. Just day to day errands, work, my dad’s day activity, family stuff, etc. Today that ended when the truck’s chosen lane ended… putting it into a turn only lane. The truck wanted to go straight… but it was definitely stuck in a double left turn only situation. I thought it would just make the turn and then reroute down around another road… then continue on its original path. FSD is usually smart like that. But as it was turning left it put on its blinker to go right… making it look like it was going to merge over to the right, get back into the straight lane (in the middle of the intersection) and run the red light in order to do so. And even kind of against the remainder of other oncoming left turning traffic. At exactly the moment I decided to take over, the left turn signal went on… milliseconds before I took over. Do you think the truck corrected itself at the last second? And I actually didn’t need to intervene? I’ve watched the video and this might be true but it sure seemed like it was about to go to the right and straight ahead. So I didn’t chance it. So, I identified it as a critical intervention on the menu. I said a few months ago, I thought the strength of the streak feature was that when a person broke their streak, it REALLY meant the person needed to break it. Giving Tesla and TeslaAi really good signal in the noise. An excellent piece of data. So I hope this error makes its way to @Tesla_AI and FSD can learn from it. This is the first time in 2,200 miles I’ve needed to intervene. Which is freaking amazing!! But let’s just reroute next time you get in the wrong lane. I’m cool with just a slight detour. Thanks to Tesla for the 2,200 miles of FSD, now I’m starting over again with a 50 mile streak! 🙂

I’ve been fortunate enough the last couple of years to take my Cybertruck around the country. Been east to FL, west to CA, south to Starbase. Going overlanding has been one of my new fave things to do. Which terrain do you prefer? 👀

Cybertruck + Cybertent + Starbase Have you ever been camping on the beach behind Starship? We did this for Flight 8 and lived there for 2.5 days without moving. Yes those are seashells stacked on my bumper. 🙂
