Recently, #XRPLedger# contributors released rippled 2.6.0. Soon after launch, @offledger deployed a validator and performed extensive real-world testing on this release. During testing, @offledger identified issues with increased RAM usage on servers running 2.6.0 (a memory leak that could cause servers to crash). This discovery was crucial, as it helped prevent potential performance problems across the network. After discussions with contributors, a hotfix release (2.5.1) was published. This is currently the stable version to run. Importantly, there are no amendments to vote on in this release. We strongly urge all node operators to upgrade to 2.5.1 for stability and smooth performance. Once again, huge thanks to @offledger and to all contributors for their dedication. Huge congratulations to the @AvivaInvestors team on expanding their tokenised fund footprint with the launch of a new tokenised share class for their Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund, built directly on the #XRPLedger#. Following the rollout of their USD Liquidity Fund tokenised share class this past July, this latest milestone positions Aviva Investors as one of the largest tokenised Money Market Fund providers in Europe. Real-world utility, enterprise-grade liquidity, and traditional asset management converging on @Ripple’s trusted infrastructure. The future of capital markets is being built on the XRPL today.

XRP Ledger developers move to close loopholes around restricted tokens Four code changes were proposed this week for the @XRP Ledger’s core software. Those would stop accounts without issuer approval from receiving or holding tokens that require it, a setting that is used by regulated stablecoins and tokenized funds. Users would require approval for both tokens in a trading pool before an account can buy in. Another proposal would let unapproved balances only go back to the issuer. The fixes are still under review and would switch on through fixCleanup3_5_0, a wider cleanup upgrade for the $XRP network. Like every XRP Ledger amendment, it needs support from at least 80% of validators for two weeks before it goes live on mainnet.

XRP Ledger's stablecoin supply is back above $1 billion. @Ripple's $XRP Ledger has seen its stablecoin market cap grow nearly +5% in the past week. The growth sends @XRP Ledger's stablecoin economy back above the $1 billion mark, its total now at $1.093 billion. It still sits ahead of @Arc (which has seen dramatic growth in recent days), but behind @Avax and its $1.307 billion stablecoin figure.

XRP ($XRP) is gaining institutional traction as Ripple expands adoption of the XRP Ledger. Aviva Investors just tokenized a share class of its nearly $29B Sterling Liquidity Fund on XRPL, while network wallet activity has also hit record highs.
