A 300-year-old guild hall keeps Guangzhou's silk-weaving heritage alive. Jinlun Guild Hall in Liwan District, built in 1723 and restored in 2005, is Guangzhou's only fully preserved trade guild hall, retaining Lingnan features like wok-eared gable walls and blue brick walls. In 2021, Jinlun Guild Hall was transformed into an exhibition hall dedicated to Xiangyunsha, a traditional Guangdong fabric which has been recognized as national intangible cultural heritage. Featuring texts, images, videos, and artifacts, the exhibition showcases the history of Guangdong's silk weaving industry and Xiangyunsha culture, and walks visitors through the fabric's production process. #Guangdong# #JinlunGuildHall# #Guangzhou# #Liwan# #Xiangyunsha# #SilkWeaving# #IntangibleCulturalHeritage# @MetaGuangdong @Guangzhou_City @Discover_GZ @ViewHK_Macao @CulturalLingnan
