I'm at the HubSpot #UNBOUND# conference in Boston. With 13,000 of my closest friends. I love this community. Can already feel the positive vibes. Tonight: I'm holed up in my hotel room practicing my keynote for tomorrow. It's going to be a long night (like always) but I think you folks will like it.

Why OpenAI And HubSpot Are Buying Creator Businesses (Photo: Getty Images)
I'm interviewing Tom Brady @HubSpot 's Unbound Conference. What should I ask him?
Grok just got two new Connectors: • HubSpot: Sales & CRM • Webull: Investing & Markets This is much bigger than adding two more integrations With HubSpot, Grok can work directly with your CRM data....customers, leads, deals, pipelines, notes, and follow-ups...helping sales teams surface insights, summarize activity, and identify the next best actions With Webull, Grok can bring market data and portfolio context into the same conversation, making it easier to research investments, analyze market activity, and understand your holdings without constantly switching between platforms This is where AI becomes even more super useful Instead of opening multiple apps, searching through records, and piecing everything together yourself, you can ask a single question and let Grok retrieve the relevant context across the tools you already use The Connector ecosystem keeps expanding Grok is evolving from a chatbot into an AI workspace that can understand and act across your business, development, productivity, and financial tools

what in the horrible ui/ux world is this multi-alert bar doing inside of hubspot
So almost every pre-AI B2B product we use has told us they are raising prices for agent access. Salesforce and HubSpot are two of the latest, albeit differently (the price increases at HubSpot seem to be mainly for their own agents, while Saleforce is increasing prices for third party agents). But it’s not just them. Another niche CRM we’ve used for 5+ years just told us we have to pay extra for agent use of API. Another niche product we use just deprecated the API we were using for 10K. Maybe the only apps not doing this … are the ones that started agentic. What I worry is the vendors aren’t thinking this through. The immediate reaction of our agents to agentic price increases is … How Can We Work Around Them. Not cheat. But literally to move data off all these platforms so there is no API tax for the agents to use them. And the humans naturally will want to stop having their agents use apps that raise steep prices to use them. So I do worry these vendors are inadvertently creating an agentic death spiral. Usage will drop, new agents will move off the platforms as much as practical, and these API tools will lead to less usage, less stickiness, and … less of a moat.

Rep. Tony Wied bought and sold some stocks ✍ Buys include: ~$50K of $HUBS (HubSpot) on 8/14 ~$50K of $NOW (ServiceNow) on 8/14 ~$50K of $CRM (Salesforce) on 8/14 HubSpot might be the interesting one Why? - He has now purchased ~$150K of HubSpot this year - The stock is currently trading at 6-yr lows - If, and we mean "if", it returns to its previous ATH, it'd be up ~237% from here Additionally, he sold $TTD (The Trade Desk) and $UPST (Upstart Holdings)

How I Grow Better With AI Personal YouSpot Example: Episode 1. Here's one of the ways the new YouSpot product (from HubSpot Next) helps me with my domain name purchases. I have a YouSpot cloud agent setup that has *exactly* this configuration (stated in natural language): "Check my last domain related emails to/from GoDaddy. Extract the domain names discussed and add them as domain name objects to second brain. Retrieve the estimated domain value using the built-in tool and store that in the object. Send me an email with which ones you added and their estimated value." And this results in a daily email that looks like the screenshot shown. Life changing for me. One accidental benefit. When I get the annual "renewal" email from GoDaddy(and other registrars) , the agent picks up that email, gets the estimated value from DomainValue .com (app that's also part of YouSpot) and adds it to. my database. Result: An automatically updated database of all of my domain names with an estimated value so I have a sense of the total value of my portfolio. Something I *never* had the time to maintain before now happens automagically. A related, even bigger benefit: If I am in the midst of negotiations of a domain name that I've made an offer on, but the ball got dropped, it'll show up in my daily update email with an analysis of the negotiations and advice on whether I should make a counter-offer or send a nudge to the seller. You can sign-up for YouSpot right now for $1/month (100 credits) to try it out. Visit YouSpot .com. #youspot# #hubspot#

Notes like this are the best part about starting a company: Hello Brian & Dharmesh,  I joined HubSpot in March 2013 as one of the early DubSpot team and after 13 incredible years this is my last month. Many times I've heard Brian talk about building a company that your grandkids can be proud of. I am writing this email partly to give you an insight into the incredible impact you've had on my life and partly because I imagine it is difficult for your family to appreciate the impact HubSpot has had on so many like me. I hope you share this with your family.  I joined HubSpot at 26 yrs old as a Level 1 Sales Rep. I was early in my sales career, highly motivated and eager to learn. HubSpot gave me an opportunity I couldn't have imagined and I didn't fully appreciate until later. I worked hard, learnt fast and chased targets. I moved to Manager and later moved to Sales Director. In January 2014, Nisha Anand joined as a Level 1 Support Rep. We met, fell in love and got married. She also worked hard, learnt fast and chased promotions. She is now a Principal Solutions Engineer on UK Corp.  Financially HubSpot has transformed our lives but it is more than that. Our friends are HubSpotters. At our Wedding there were tables of HubSpotters. There are family and friends in Leitrim and Belfast that still cannot explain what HubSpot does but they follow it in the news, check the stock price and ask us "what's happening at the big American company?". HubSpot is part of our life story. At every step of our lives HubSpot has been there:  - We timed our Wedding so we could take our sabbaticals for our Honeymoon.  - We sold HUBS shares to buy our first home - When Covid hit we continued progressing our careers working from home - We used tuition reimbursement to up-skill and learn at Harvard, UCD and Oxford. - We used the Temporary Mobility policy to work from London for 1 month during fertility treatment. It worked and we got pregnant. - When our twins girls arrived 10 weeks early and spent a month in hospital, HubSpot supported us. I had 6 weeks for Paternity leave plus used my 2nd sabbatical to be there for my family - My wife took 12 months of maternity leave plus her 2nd sabbatical and returned to continue progressing her career and recently triggered another promotion. - We sold HUBS again to move into a bigger home. My father tells me that I have spent one third of my working career at HubSpot. It is almost impossible to explain the impact HubSpot has had on my life. What an amazing company. I hope you and your family are incredibly proud of what you have built. For the rest of my life I will be grateful to you and HubSpot. Wishing you and your family all the best in the future.

Nebius just joined @joinstationf F/ai program as a partner for the next cohort Joining alongside great names like Eleven Labs, Openrouter, Github, Hubspot, and Rippling. Station F is the biggest startup campus in Paris 🇫🇷 F/ai is the AI only track inside it: reco only, no open application, built to push early technical teams toward real revenue. the room already had OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google, Meta, Microsoft, AWS, plus Tier-1 capital like Sequoia and General Catalyst, so a european founder is not cold emailing their way into each door one by one. Cohort one ran that setup, cohort two is where @nebiusai walks in 💪 what is happening is pretty concrete. we already run GPU capacity in Paris. F/ai puts that capacity in the founder layer of the french and wider european AI scene, next to the model and capital partners who were already there. The program is also opening beyond pure Paris residency to hybrid teams across european hubs, and adding a week in SF with partner HQs. it's important bc Europe keeps producing strong research and still loses time (and sometimes companies) on the dull middle of the stack, quotas, infra help, distribution. A program like this with models, compute, tools, and capital in one coalition is trying to compress that middle. If you are building AI native in europe and the bottleneck is compute plus access, this is one of the denser rooms on the continent right now.
