"We will take as much firm, reliable, affordably priced and clean power as we can — and we need it fast." Aalo is building into a power market facing 190 GW of new demand by 2035. Energy needs to be firm, clean, dense, and sited where the load is. From our partner @CrusoeAI: "As an operator and a practitioner in the space today, sitting where I'm sitting, I can say we will take as much firm, reliable, affordably priced and clean power as we can... and nuclear is certainly one of the very important potential solutions to this problem. Two main goals of this partnership. One is first, to demonstrate to the industry a shared vision for a modular nuclear reactor powering an AI data center; simply to show the world that operationally and commercially, these things go together, and that they match and can be scaled together. And then the second goal is to scale that vision, to commercialize that vision by the end of 2029. To deploy this at scale, we envision doing that in 50 megawatt increments."

Thanks to all who attended our "Criticality to Commercialization" event today at the Aalo-X campus. Days like this are a powerful reminder of our common interest, mission, and roadmap: customers, suppliers, investors, partners, regulators, and team members working to bring advanced nuclear reactors to scaled commercial deployment on unprecedented timelines. Stay tuned for announcements and talks from the event in the coming days.

Today, we're sharing our strategic partnership with Crusoe to launch the first nuclear-powered AI factory data center, designed to validate nuclear power’s effectiveness with AI workloads. Aalo will initially power a Crusoe Spark™ modular data center, running Crusoe Cloud, in 2027 at Idaho National Laboratory. Looking forward, Aalo and Crusoe intend to deploy Aalo Pods, Aalo’s 50 MWe XMR power plants, at Crusoe data centers by the end of 2029. The collaboration is already underway at the Idaho National Lab (INL) in direct partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). _____________ The CTR at the Aalo-X campus reached criticality on July 4, 2026. Construction is underway on Aalo's second nuclear reactor, a 10 MWe power plant. More details below:
