"Famine in Gaza" defenders like @JeremyKonyndyk keep ignoring the statistic that matters most: actual malnutrition-related deaths. According to Hamas, not Israel, there were 461. A genuine famine would have necessarily meant tens of thousands.

The notion that phased Hamas disarmament should trigger phased Israeli withdrawals makes no sense. If Hamas goes from 20,000 serial killers & rapists to 10,000, should Israel withdraw halfway? And withdraw almost entirely when "only" 3,000 committed to another 10/7 remain armed?
