10 years ago I was very sick: acne, eczema, autoimmune issues, gut issues, low energy, low T, you name it.
It was not a good time
I discovered the carnivore diet in 2017 and it changed my life.
My health issues vanished within a month. I went back to my doctor to share the news and he fired me.
He told me he wouldn’t work with me if I were doing such a dangerous diet.
This was my red pill. How could he not care that I just cured everything he diagnosed me with?
I couldn’t shut up about it. I spent all my time researching red meat and nutrition. I berated my parents, ex girlfiened, friends and everyone I knew with facts about red meat and how they had to eat more.
They all told me to stfu, nobody cares, I’m insane.
So, I decided to do what any insane man would: launch a Twitter account.
On a whim. I launched “carnivore Aurelius” in 2018 to share what I learned about red meat and also about living a good life from Marcus Aurelius.
I launched the account because without I would have become an insane schizo man shouting at people on the street. I did it anonymously because it was never about me but the bigger ideas and movement.
After 8 years of shouting at people here instead, and many ups and downs, I just hit 1 million followers.
More than anything it’s a testament to us all. To the movement we’ve created. To turning red meat, sunlight, anti seed oils from something fringe to mainstream.
What a time to be alive
