Actually kinda funny that so many of the founding fathers died with massive debts. Really makes sense why tax of all things was the straw that broke the camels back. They couldn’t pay it. John Adams was goated tho. Sensible, humble, thrifty. I would never levy my Puritan prejudice against my boy John Adams.
