I’ve just learned this touching detail from Mr. Ronald Sakolsky’s trip to China: hoping to bring joy to 5-year-old Grayson, an American boy suffering from a very rare form of muscular dystrophy who dreams of collecting patches from fire departments, Ronald reached out to a Chinese fire department and brought back three patches for him. It would be heartwarming to see these little gifts from across the Pacific bring a big smile to Grayson’s face. ❤️

27 years later, Mr. Ronald Sakolsky finally reunited with his students. Just like Ms. Yin Yuzhen, Ronald is also a planter: sowing a seed in each one of his students, and waiting for it to grow into a tree.

On Aug. 24, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee Wang Huning met with U.S. delegates attending the third China-U.S. Track 1.5 Dialogue in Beijing.
