Jealous people are not lazy. They're measuring their position against someone else progress instead of against their own potential.. and that's a wrong calculation that losses always.
Don't hate the player, hate the game. "Unless you have the power to change game (which is often systemic and institutional). Why not play it the best you can with what you have?
