NOW: Moment of EXPLOSION that went off outside of the 26 Federal Plaza in NYC around 8:30am this morning, with Immigration agents and FBI Rushing out guns drawn and FPS apprehending the suspect. Sidewalk has been shut down and building evacuated.
NYPD on scene confirmed it was a shooting and explosive device, suspect is apprehended.

Live at the scene on East 42nd Street bw 2nd and 3rd Avenues where a massive building that’s currently being converted is at risk of collapse, according to the FDNY.
A criminal complaint says the couple somehow gained access to the building’s 102nd, 103rd & 104th floors, which all require a key card swipe & are restricted. City officials also had to power down the building’s radio antenna so no one would get exposed to harmful waves. vía @gothamist
