Tokens moving across chains with Chainlink CCIP will earn bigger borrowing limits on Kamino
After a security review,
@kamino said assets that move between chains using
@chainlink CCIP will qualify for higher deposit caps and loan-to-value ratios, meaning users can borrow more against them. The Solana lending protocol pointed to CCIP’s default setup, where 16 independent node operators verify each cross-chain transfer.
Tokens whose issuers set up their own cross-chain checks face heavier review, lower caps and, in some cases, rejection or delisting. Kamino also said it can already pause markets for some cross-chain assets on Solana when it spots warning signs such as unbacked supply.
