Every priest in the Bible worked standing up. Hebrews 10:11 says it plain. "Every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins." Standing. Daily. Oftentimes. The job was never done. God put no chair in the tabernacle. Check the furniture list in Exodus. Ark, table, lampstand, altars, laver. No seat. A priest's work never earned one. Then read the very next verse. "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God." Hebrews 10:12. He sat down. The first priest in history to sit down on the job. Because the job was finished. That is why He said "this do in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19. A remembrance. Not a repeat. "For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." Hebrews 10:14. One offering. Once. Forever. The chair is the proof.
