TETHER COMPLETES FIRST FULL FINANCIAL AUDIT Tether says KPMG U.S. has completed a full independent audit of its 2025 financial statements, issuing an unqualified, or “clean,” audit opinion. The audit went far beyond Tether’s previous quarterly reserve attestations, examining its full balance sheet, transactions, systems, counterparties, valuations, cash flows and underlying documentation. KPMG also physically counted and inspected every individual gold bar held by Tether. The audited statements show Tether’s reserves exceeded its liabilities by $6.814 billion at the end of 2025. Tether calls it the largest inaugural financial audit ever conducted and the fulfillment of one of the company’s longest-standing commitments.
