Asimov 1 is moving from a robot on the website to a robot in developers’ hands. Over 20 countries in just two weeks, with Batch 3 already full. That kind of early geographic spread matters. More developers using the same platform means more experiments, more policies being tested, and more real-world feedback coming back to the ecosystem. The next batch ships next month. Physical AI gets interesting when developers can actually build on the hardware.@asimovinc

The real breakthrough from @asimovinc isn’t just walking. It’s zero-shot sim2real. A policy trained in simulation can now run directly on Asimov 1 without hours or weeks of hardware-specific tuning. The interesting part is where the team found the solution: not by forcing the model to compensate for messy hardware, but by making the robot itself more deterministic. Cleaner CAN communication, stable thermals, accurate actuator models, and better real2sim. If robots are going to become a serious Physical AI platform, developers need hardware that keeps up with their models. Asimov is pushing in exactly that direction.

This is the part of humanoid robotics that gets interesting fast. @Figure_robot already has multiple robots moving around its San Jose HQ without someone sitting there controlling every step. The goal isn’t just making a robot perform a demo. It’s getting to the point where robots can operate on their own in the real world.

Four years ago, @Figure_robot didn’t even have a robot. Today, it’s valued at $39B, has built 1,000+ humanoids, deployed robots at BMW, built its own AI models, manufacturing infrastructure and a global data collection network. What impresses me most is the speed. Figure isn’t building just a robot. It’s building the entire stack at the same time: hardware, AI, data, factories and real-world deployments. And now Figure 04 is already on the way. Four years later, much of the humanoid industry is being measured against what @adcock_brett and the Figure team have built.
