Top Gear has released a new video of the production version @Tesla Semi. We get our first look at the full production line. New info: • The Tesla Semi isn't painted, it's powder coated, like Megapacks are. There is no paint shop. • Production version is 3% more efficient than prototype • More aerodynamic than a Bugatti Chiron • Standard Range has a 548 kWh battery • Tesla Semi is only 7x less efficient than a Model Y • Fitted a new air vent in the front bumper for better efficiency • Production Semi has a three piece front bumper for easier repairing • Seats are heated and cooled, despite being cloth seats • The squarer battery holds heat better, meaning better cold weather efficiency • A 6 foot 6 adult can stand up straight in the cabin without hitting their head • The biggest sun visor I've ever seen I definitely recommend watching the full video here:
