Attention #InternationalStudents#: protect yourself from immigration fraud. Receive a suspicious telephone call? Hang up immediately!
Then, follow these steps:
• call your local police if you lose money
• report the incident to the @canantifraud
As a reminder, IRCC will never contact you by telephone to confirm basic personal info you have already provided on a form or to collect fees or fines and say it's to avoid deportation or face other consequences.
