The problem with Superman 2025 is its made by someone who doesnt like Superman. Gunn made Superman a side character in favor of Mr. Terrific, Guy Gardiner, even Lois Lane. When you look at the movie objectively, Superman does not affect the plot that much beyond the background Boravia narrative. And this is besides the other clear sign Gunn hates Superman: how he made Jor-El sending Superman to earth to conquer it and form a Super-Harem.
