He was sitting in the cold, inside his tent, with almost nothing to his name, yet he still made sure a stray dog passing by had something to eat. Later that day, the guard went outside and asked him why he would give food away when he was clearly struggling himself. The man looked up and said, “A lot of people think kindness costs something.
