many have highlighted several valid reasons why Robinhood chain will succeed
for example:
โข Robinhood's massive brand advantage, a $100B+ company with tens of millions of users
โข the sheer number of vested interests that want to see it succeed, from Uniswap and Arbitrum to wealthy ETH OGs and the broader Ethereum ecosystem, all of whom finally have a chance to put Ethereum back in the spotlight
but i think one of the most underrated reasons is
@vladtenev and his team
many assume Vlad simply got lucky building the biggest and most influential retail trading platform in history as some kid from Bulgaria
everything he's done with Robinhood chain so far suggests otherwise
he has shown himself to be incredibly strategic, with every move feeling deliberate and carefully calculated
you can see it in the announcements the team makes, the projects he engages with, and both his personal and corporate communication
as someone who's been in this space for multiple cycles, i genuinely can't think of another blockchain founder who's played things this well
for example:
โข Ethereum's biggest breakout came after CryptoKitties, DeFi Summer, and ultimately the memecoin boom led by $SHIB, yet Vitalik has repeatedly come across as tone deaf toward memecoins and has openly dismissed the community
โข Solana only truly exploded once memecoin traders embraced the chain, yet its founders and official accounts have repeatedly alienated the very community that helped drive its growth
โข i don't even need to get into Base's recent fiasco and years of similarly tone deaf messaging
too many founders treat memecoins as slop or a plague on their ecosystem
when in reality, it's a $25B sector that has proven to be one of crypto's most durable sources of attention and activity
what is Vlad doing?
he's leaning hard into memecoins and even went as far as shouting them out and saying he likes them on Robinhood's recent earnings call
the irony is that memecoins have consistently been the biggest catalyst for getting new chains noticed
people pay attention when a chain is hot
and the fastest way to make a chain hot is to have an army of retail users trading, posting, and generating excitement around it
that drives transactions, wallets, onchain activity, early TVL, and liquidity
developers notice that momentum and start building
and the fastest way to create that momentum is through memecoins
Vlad seems to understand this better than almost anyone
you can see it in how he communicates, who he interacts with, and how Robinhood chain engages with the community
i think that's one of Robinhood chain's biggest and most underrated advantages
and one of the reasons i believe it'll dominate this cycle

$USELESS is going to be the $DOGE / $SHIB type runner of this new cycle
if you don't get why...
sorry i don't have the time to explain it to you!
imagine thinking the Robinhood chain eco just dies here and that's it
you must be a beginner
those who have been here for multiple cycles and are carefully paying attention will tell you this:
we get a new chain every cycle where the main action happens
and it's rarely the same chain every cycle
in the 2020/2021 era it was Ethereum
then it was Solana in the 2022/2023 era
it will be Robinhood chain in the 2026/2027 era
i strongly suggest positoning accordingly

a major mistake i made in the past was being blindly loyal to my bags and the communities around them
i round-tripped eight figures while chasing social clout last cycle because of it
you'd think the people in those communities would've stood by me afterward
nah
most of them ridiculed me and clowned on me
and, honestly, rightly so
i won't be making the same mistake this cycle
vanity metrics like social clout might feel good in the moment, but they rarely last
when the tide turns, the same people will happily turn on you
your loyalty should be to YOUR
not your bags
and certainly not any community
you should be routinely taking profits on any and every coin

it's crazy how so many people could justify buying $CASHCAT at a $200M market cap...
but now struggle to justify buying $PONS, the token of Robinhood chain's leading launchpad with more than half the market share of the entire sector, at such a ridiculously low valuation
this is despite Pons generating millions in revenue monthly, even while Robinhood chain is in a lull
on top of that, 80% of its revenue is used to buy back and burn $PONS
it's like getting the chance to buy $PUMP or $HYPE... except at a low-cap valuation
do you get it?

i find it funny how CT and trenchers keep rotating into every new flavor-of-the-day chain ngl
they must be obsessed with losing money
two weeks ago, everyone was forcing the Base narrative after seeing Robinhood chain's success... and we all saw how that ended
last week, i posted the first screenshot in my TG channel while everyone was pushing Stable chain as the next Robinhood chain kind of event for the trenches
i shared the other two screenshots in another trenches chat
needless to say, the top memecoin on Stable is down ~90%, and barely any meme there has gained real traction
don't get me wrong, i've got nothing against Tether or Arc chain
in fact, i think both could thrive if they're used for what they were actually designed for: stablecoins
but trying to force a memecoin narrative onto every new chain that launches is just ridiculous
most of these guys don't understand memecoin culture. they'll happily nuke your bags and be completely insensitive about it
if you want to trade memecoins, just focus on Robinhood chain, Solana, and maybe BNB chain ๐คทโโ๏ธ

i first bought and called $MARSCOIN on FOMO at a $3.2m market cap just 2 days ago
it's now up over 1,000%
i first bought $PONS on FOMO at a $4m FDV. it reached a $65m ATH about a week later
i bought $BRODIE at around a $700k market cap. it reached $7m in less than a week
all of this has happened within the past two weeks... in a bear market
i can only imagine how crazy things will get in a proper bull market
i've been very selective about what i call on X and in my Telegram channel
but for the past year, many people have been asking me to take more degen trades and share them publicly
that's what i'm doing on FOMO now

i take degen trades on FOMO that i would never talk about on X
i get burnt on many, but occasionally we find gems
e.g.
- i first bought $PONS on FOMO around a $4m market cap (FDV) 12 days ago; it's now at $51m (~13x)
- i first bought $BRODIE on FOMO around a $700k market cap 3 days ago; it's now at $6.1m (~8x)
and this is despite this being more or less a bear market
i expect to take more trades and have more winners as we enter bull territory
again, i'm not saying everything i buy or shill on FOMO will be a winner
but i feel a lot more comfortable buying new/degen plays there because it's far less noisy than X, and people following me there know exactly what they're getting into

two of the most formidable players in the Robinhood chain ecosystem announced their launchpad this week and Pons barely budged
โข the first was Rialto, a major Robinhood partner
โข the second was $CASHCAT which is the most renowned token on Robinhood chain
you would miss the forest for the trees if you simply pay attention to the intraday $PONS price
since that mostly reflects people's kneejerk reaction to announcements and introduction of heavyweight competitors, which has so far proven to be irrational at first
Pons seems to be an even better buy now if you look at the fundamentals, however:
โข it has pretty much maintained dominance despite all the new heavyweight launchpads
โข e.g. Pons has had an average of 14,666 daily launches over the past week, or an average of 13,611 daily launches since it went live two weeks ago. however, it had 18,707 launches two days ago and 17,300 launches yesterday despite both Rialto and Cashcat announcing their launchpads this week
โข fees, mindshare, and Robinhood chain network dominance has remained relatively consistent despite new heavyweight competitors
the only thing that has gone down is price
meanwhile, Pons v2 is expected to go live at any moment and turbocharge $PONS buybacks and burns, while also introducing several features that should result in significantly more tokens being launched on Pons i.e. more fees

i think the attention dissipation and fragmentation we're experiencing right now is exactly what strengthens the $USELESS thesis
a few cycles ago, we only had a handful of memecoins to buy
today, there are more than 55 million cryptocurrencies
and thousands of launchpads are facilitating the creation of hundreds of thousands of new tokens every single day
on Solana, Robinhood Chain, and dozens of other active blockchains
this isn't getting better
it's only going to get worse
and no matter how creative or nihilistic a memecoin is, there will eventually be so many versions of it that people will suffer analysis paralysis trying to decide what to buy
but $USELESS is different
it's instantly understandable
99.9999% of all those tokens, past, present, and future, are, and will continue to be, USELESS
the more fragmented this space becomes, the more powerful that message gets
$USELESS isn't just another memecoin narrative
it's THE final boss of memecoin narratives

@theunipcs Genuine question mate but given attention dissipation and fragmentation over time why do you think it can be a multi cycle coin?

the market initially faded the emergence of $PONS after the Noxa shutdown
and so far, it has severely underrated both the project and its role in the Robinhood ecosystem
many sold their tokens the day Circus launched, automatically assuming Pons had lost
since then, however:
- Pons market share has gone from 53% to 73%
- Pons market cap went from $11m to a peak of $52m in just 7 days
$PONS has the lowest market cap-to-revenue ratio in all of crypto, and it's not even close
i.e. a 0.626x revenue multiple versus:
- 2.4x for $PUMP
- 5.57x for $AERO
- 11.8x for $LDO
- 22x for $HYPE
- 36.9x for ethereum:0x1f9840a85d5af5bf1d1762f925bdaddc4201f984
so even if it wasn't the top launchpad and only had one-quarter of the traction it has today, it would still be undervalued relative to almost every other revenue-generating protocol
v2, which launches in a few days, will only amplify this... by a lot
Pons is responsible for 54% of ALL transactions and activity on Robinhood Chain
Pons has achieved such massive network effects and market dominance that it would take a lot to displace it
any way you look at it, people should be buying $PONS now, not selling
panic dumping here is incredibly irrational IMO!

it's always funny watching people overreact and irrationally panic dump high-conviction plays
yesterday, many panic sold their $PONS tokens because a Robinhood partner launched a new launchpad
so how did the day end for Pons?
1. 18,707 tokens were launched on Pons yesterday
that's 56.71% more tokens than the day before and 67.63% more than two days earlier
that's also a 6-day high for new tokens launched on Pons
2. Pons ended the day with $101.4 million of the total $138.2 million in launchpad volume across Robinhood chain
that's 73.4% of all launchpad volume on Robinhood chain
for context:
โข there are about 59 launchpads on Robinhood chain, yet Pons still did nearly 3x more volume than the other 58 launchpads combined yesterday, even after this new launchpad went live
โข just one week ago, Pons had a 53% market share. over the past week, it has averaged a 62.5% market share
3. Pons ended the day with $162.5k in revenue
โข this is more or less in line with what it has been generating over the past week
โข it's even more impressive considering yesterday was a weak day for both BTC and equities, while Robinhood chain activity also cooled somewhat
4. Pons burned 4.29 million tokens over the last 24 hours
โข that's above the 7-day average of 3,353,716 tokens per day
โข there's still roughly $350k sitting in the buyback wallet, and it's being replenished very quickly through new fees
5. Pons v2 should turbocharge the Pons narrative
โข v2 has the potential to increase Pons' market share and strengthen its dominance by allowing tokens to be paired with stocks, stablecoins, and a variety of other assets
โข v2 should also maximize revenue for Pons and could potentially double revenue, all else being equal
โข that could mean up to 2x more burns even if activity on the platform remains the same, which is remarkable considering Pons has already burned 22% of its token supply in just two weeks
โข this is happening while $PONS trades at a 0.626x revenue multiple versus 2.4x for $PUMP, 5.57x for $AERO, 11.8x for $LDO, 22x for $HYPE, and 36.9x for $UNI
โข in other words, $PONS is already significantly undervalued relative to other revenue-generating protocols, and v2 looks poised to make that valuation gap even wider
TLDR:
1. there is clearly room for several launchpads to thrive on Robinhood chain
2. every objective metric shows that Pons remains the clear leader and has so far been completely unfazed by the launch of a new competitor
3. if anything, Pons' fundamentals have only improved
and they're about to be turbocharged with the launch of v2 later this week
panic sellers will buy back higher

Chatter on the tl about new launchpads but $pons is not stopping. Almost 15,000 new launches today - already surpassing yesterday and Monday last week.
v2 is bullish for $PONS โ three core reasons:
1. Significantly stronger revenue generation (earlier + larger income)
In v1, protocol fees mainly come from trading after projects graduate and enter the Uniswap pool
Many projects die before graduation, or their trading volume is concentrated only in the early stage, meaning the actual revenue captured by the protocol is limited
v2 changes this by collecting fees from the very first second of bonding curve trading, with fees charged on both buying and selling
This means that as long as someone trades on the bonding curve (regardless of whether the project eventually graduates), the protocol can immediately generate revenue
These fees will ultimately flow into wallets dedicated to buying and burning PONS
Therefore:
More protocol revenue โ More PONS purchased โ More PONS burned.
2. Stronger security (more complete anti-rug design)
v2 ensures that liquidity after graduation is permanently locked
The smart contract does not even contain an unlock function
Creators are therefore almost unable to manipulate the project at later stages:
Cannot withdraw liquidity;
Cannot arbitrarily add new taxes;
Cannot modify core parameters.
For traders and holders, this reduces the trust barrier and makes it easier for projects to retain capital and trading volume
Higher trading volume โ More fees generated โ More revenue flowing back into the PONS buyback and burn mechanism
3. Much broader application scenarios (from meme launchpad to chain-wide issuance layer)
In v1, only WETH pairing is supported, making it essentially focused on memecoin launches
However, v2 supports customizable paired assets:
Stablecoins;
Tokenized stocks;
Any other approved tokens.
This means Pons will no longer only be used for launching memes
It can become a general-purpose token issuance infrastructure across the entire Robinhood Chain ecosystem
The more projects that launch through the platform, the more trading activity and fees are generated
And these fees will ultimately feed into the PONS buyback and burn mechanism
Summary:
Higher revenue generation + stronger security + expanded utility
At the same time, with its current relatively low valuation, the v2 upgrade represents a clear positive catalyst for PONS holders
