That's what makes YouTube different from everywhere else you post. A post on X or a reel gets its shot in the first day, and then it's gone. But on YouTube the video stays in the library, and people can keep finding it for years. Now getting that to actually happen does take strategy. The topic gets picked because it's something people keep searching for months and years later. And the title and the thumbnail have to hold up just as long. Because plenty of videos do their numbers in the first week, and then go quiet for good. And the money is only part of it. 1,100 people subscribed off the back of that one video. And every one of them now sees everything else that goes out on the channel. And that's just one video. Put out a run of them that behave like this, with a few doing far better, and the revenue starts stacking on top of itself. So every video you add is another one still working for you in two years.
