Either Jesus died for the sins of all, or he did not.
If he did, then salvation must in principle be available to all who freely accept Jesus. If salvation is only available to those whom God predestined from the beginning of the world, then it is not open to all. In that case, it makes no sense to say the Jesus died for the sins of all. This is the core problem with the Calvinist doctrine of predestination.
