$IREN’s June 3 announcement says it signed a transmission connection agreement supporting up to 800 MW at Bundey, South Australia, with four 330kV feeder exits secured.
$IREN also specifically states the site benefits from submarine fiber connectivity to major APAC demand centers including Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan. Energization is targeted to begin in 2028.

Anthropic has signed ~$517 billion worth of compute leases representing 14.8 GW since October 2025.
That number excludes the 1.4 GW / $15B they look to secure in Australia, which I believe is coming soon.
This is just the beginning of Anthropic’s compute push.
