The Anduril YFQ-44A is one of the first autonomous jets in America's arsenal and a lot of people don't understand this video. It's VERY SEXY with a really great soundtrack, beautiful slow moving desert background. This jet can carry AIM-120s which are air to air missiles that can be guided by a variety of methods.
The reason the close-up is on here is because landing is extremely difficult for any autonomous platform. It's easy to sort of get the aircraft flying in the sky, but landing it without breaking it is another major engineering feat by itself!
