China's Ethnic Unity Law will further erode rights of minority groups, including in Tibet, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.
It is very damaging to China's international reputation.
The European Parliament condemns China's assimilation policies, calls for the repeal of this law, and urges China to uphold its obligations under international law.
