The two ministers discussed the latest regional developments and the rapidly evolving situation in the region. They exchanged views on efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, containing their repercussions, and creating the conditions necessary to continue diplomatic efforts and address outstanding issues in a manner that supports the security and stability of the region. The call also addressed a number of regional matters and issues of mutual interest. With regard to Omani–U.S. relations, the two ministers stressed the importance of building on the existing cooperation, advancing mutual interests, and continuing consultation and coordination through communication channels between the two friendly countries, in a manner that supports bilateral relations and ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability at both the regional and global levels.
