A trader who turned $5,000 into nearly $100 million once said something I didn’t understand for years.
In 2023, I watched Kristjan Kullamägi @Qullamaggie speak at Traders4ACause @Traders4ACause .
He asked the room:
“Who here would be happy making tens of millions from trading?”
Only a few hands went up.
Then Kristjan said:
“You guys are smart. You know when to stop. I’m not that smart.”
Everyone laughed.
But that sentence stuck with me.
Why would one of the most successful traders of our generation say that?
At the time, I didn’t understand it.
