JAMIE DIMON’S SHOCK WARNING: THE US DOLLAR COULD LOSE ITS GLOBAL CROWN IN 25 YEARS
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warns that the U.S. dollar could lose its reserve-currency status within 25 years if America loses its economic and military strength.
Dimon says the dollar’s global dominance depends on U.S. economic power, national security and geopolitical influence. A weaker America could lead countries to seek alternatives.
The dollar still dominates global reserves, but its share has fallen from about 70% in 2000 to around 57% today, reflecting growing diversification.
His message is clear: if the U.S. wants to keep the dollar on top, it must maintain its economic, industrial and strategic edge.
