Chad McCoy was part of the group that rescued Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates in a hostage crisis that shocked the world and inspired the Tom Hanks movie Captain Phillips.
His latest task is leading Firestorm Labs, a company valued at $725 million that 3D-prints drones and replacement parts right next to the battlefield.
