I have been closely monitoring reports about yesterday’s ICE shooting, and what I’ve seen is alarming. Let me be clear: the targeting of our communities is making us less safe, not more safe.
Texans, and all Americans, deserve full transparency about this shooting, including the release of body camera and dashcam footage, and I join the calls for a transparent investigation that includes state Rangers to begin as quickly as possible.

The governor should be ashamed to be starting another election-year commission to say what everyone already knows: the best thing we can do for a child’s education is to put a great teacher in the classroom.
When I'm governor, I will wipe clean Abbott's corrupt vendor contracts and use that money to make our teachers among the highest paid in the nation. I'll also fire Mike Morath and make an educator our Education Agency Commissioner.

Greg Abbott just appointed Huffines, the owner of the Epstein ranch & his party's nominee, to be TX Comptroller.
Why? So YOU pay for Huffines’ campaign. Last year, Abbott signed SB2, that lets the Comptroller spend your tax $$ on self-advertising as an exception to Govt Code Sec. 2113.011, which bans an agency from using “appropriated money to publicize or direct attention to an individual officer or employee of state government.”
I fought against allowing these taxpayer-funded campaign ads, because I saw it for exactly what it was: corruption.
