Not without its flaws but it’s still god tier. Its reach cg wise far exceeds its grasp of the time. The highway chase, the chateau fight, the Burly Brawl. All peak. Misunderstood at the time and even now.

Sometimes after a long ass day with the gym then work, you just gotta throw on an absolute classic.
Rewatch. Alittle too overstuffed with plot, stodgy CG in spots and characters but the action is sensational with some heavy themes, great performances by RDJ, Evan’s, Stan and a movie stealing Boseman.

Rewatch. Raimi’s first Spidey is iconic and genre defining, it’s not without its flaws like early era cg, the Goblin costume, Franco and Tobey being stiff. But the highs like the bridge climax, Dunst, & Spidey’s costume lift it over any minor issues I have.
