Idk why people find this so weird, it’s literally in the book of Isaiah. If critics of EA were familiar with the western canon and religion and the humanities, they would understand that it is good for the natural world to be redeemed and for carnivores to eat grass and straw.

This claim is completely wrong. It’s like saying the Red Army raped women in East Prussia in 1945 as revenge for Prussian complicity in the suppression of the Paris Commune. Bin Laden was angry about: (1) basing of American soldiers in KSA, (2) American support for Israel, (3) the state department convincing Sudan to steal his ranch and kick him out of the country. The women/sex issue was important to Sayyid Qutb who died in 1966 and was therefore not involved in 9/11.
