🚨NIH's own emails, obtained by @ICANdecide after a two-year FOIA fight, show Fauci, Collins, and Tabak all knew about neurological injuries following COVID vaccination by April 2021, and pushed back on publishing the findings. NIH senior investigator Avindra Nath had drafted a manuscript on 24 patients with neuropathy-like symptoms following vaccination, noting early treatment with corticosteroids could reverse them. When it was rejected by NEJM, Collins asked Koroshetz, "what do you make of this?" and called the approach "very troubling," writing that collecting these cases "will have the main consequence of feeding vaccine hesitancy and social media overreaction." Tabak's private reply to Collins was blunter: "I don't understand why Walter does not shut this down." The manuscript never ran in a peer-reviewed journal. The preprint didn't surface until May 2022, a full year later. It took @ICANdecide filing a federal lawsuit in June 2025, two years after the original FOIA request, just to get these emails released at all.

🚨Emails Reveal NIH Officials Knew About and Opposed Publicizing Cases of Neurological Injury After COVID-19 Vaccine Roll-Out National Institutes of Health (NIH) emails recently obtained by ICAN via a FOIA lawsuit show that senior NIH officials—including Fauci, Collins, and Tabak—were aware as early as April 2021 of neurological injuries occurring after COVID-19 vaccination. An NIH scientist attempted to publish a report on the subject, but NIH leaders expressed concern that it might fuel “vaccine hesitancy and social-media overreaction.” ICAN filed a lawsuit to obtain these emails in June 2025, after NIH failed to respond to a FOIA request sent in October of 2023. 🚨As ICAN Warned, RSV Vaccine for Pregnant Women May Pose Risks Three years ago, @ICANdecide sent a letter to the FDA's vaccine advisory committee warning that Pfizer's RSV vaccine for pregnant women, Abrysvo, showed concerning safety signals in its clinical trials, including preeclampsia and fetal distress. The committee ignored the warning and recommended approval. A new study published in JAMA Network Open, sponsored by Pfizer itself, confirms what ICAN flagged. Pregnancy-associated hypertensive disorders occurred in 17.3 percent of vaccinated women, compared to 13.1 percent in the concurrent comparator group, an adjusted risk increase of up to 29 percent depending on the comparison group used. Premature rupture of membranes was also elevated, along with preterm premature rupture of membranes in the historical comparison. Even the study's own authors, despite the Pfizer funding, concluded that further studies are needed to refine these risk estimates.

Prevnar 7 was licensed for infants at two, four, and six months of age with no placebo-controlled trial. There was no ethical reason to skip one. Instead, the control used in the clinical trial was another experimental vaccine, an investigational meningococcal conjugate vaccine that had never been licensed either. A JAMA article authored by FDA scientists acknowledged this approach can mask serious adverse events. Prevnar 7 then became the control used to license Prevnar 13. In that trial, serious adverse events including death, hospitalization, and permanent disability were reported in 8.2% of Prevnar 13 recipients and 7.2% of Prevnar 7 recipients. Prevnar 13 then became the control used to license Prevnar 15. Serious adverse events were reported in 9.6% of Prevnar 15 recipients and 8.9% of Prevnar 13 recipients. The FDA called it safe. Each generation of this vaccine was tested against the last one, and the last one was never tested against a true placebo. @AaronSiriSG calls it a pyramid scheme of safety, with a baseline that has never been shown to be safe at all.

In the early 1980s, fewer than 10% of American children had a chronic health condition. Today that number is over 40%, and some data put it above 50%, often with multiple conditions occurring simultaneously. The Make America Healthy Again report identifies four possible contributors: food, forever chemicals, behavior, and over-medicalization. @AaronSiriSG has a question about that fourth category. Every chronic condition that has exploded, asthma, ADHD, allergies, atopic disease, and the rest, shares a common thread: its root involves immune system dysregulation. Our federal health agencies cannot explain why these conditions have skyrocketed across every religion, racial group, and demographic in the country. The CDC vaccine schedule on or before a child's first birthday in 1986 included 3 injections. The current schedule includes 29, including injections administered in utero. If you're looking for what might be dysregulating the immune systems of an entire generation of American children, Siri says that's probably where you start.

During the 2025 pertussis outbreak in West Virginia, health authorities used the surge to coerce vaccination and refuse medical exemptions, blaming the unvaccinated. ICAN filed legal demands for the actual data. In West Virginia, 71% of pertussis cases were in individuals who were fully up to date on their vaccines. Looking back across seven years of cases, 68% were vaccinated. In New York's measles outbreak, 33% of cases had received at least one dose of the MMR vaccine, with another 28% listed as unknown vaccination status. The narrative and the data are not telling the same story.

While VRBPAC voted last week to recommend an updated COVID vaccine formula and the injured remain uncompensated, the CDC just signed $1.55 billion in new contracts with Pfizer and Moderna for adult and pediatric COVID-19 vaccines. ICAN and @React19org's letter to the CDC details what the agency chose to ignore before signing those contracts. In Pfizer's own clinical trial, there were 21 deaths in the vaccinated group and 17 in the placebo group during the same period, with more participants in the placebo group. The FDA's own internal analysis revealed significant safety signals that were hidden from the public. The compensation program has paid out on 0.39% of COVID vaccine injury claims, with an average payout of $5,052. Five years (!!) after assuring the world these products are safe, the manufacturers still require PREP Act immunity for the very harms they claim won't occur. The letter also puts the CDC on notice that distributing these vaccines through the Vaccines for Children Program without ACIP approval would constitute a violation of federal law, and demands that the contracts be canceled and funds reallocated to the injured.
