The GSEs are moving away from static appraisal forms in favor of dynamic appraisal reports that transition appraisals from a narrative format to a more data-focused format. Industry observers believe this will improve the reliability of appraisals.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac officially ended their single-family green bond programs, effective Aug. 12. Spec pool data indicate that the last single-family green MBS issuance by either GSE was in June 2025.
